How Cellulite Is Formed?

You know what cellulite looks like. But how is

cellulite formed? Beneath your skin there are

connective tissues that wrap around your muscles.

Inside them are fat cells. They’re normally cleaned

out by the fluids in your body.

The normal process of cleansing can be slowed

down when the fat cells press against the

connective tissues. When that happens, your body is unable to remove the toxins, fluids, and fats that build up in there. Then the connective tissues become bogged down with

fluids and start to harden. This results in fat-like deposits forming that are hardened and immovable. These deposits under your skin are what gives cellulite the lumpy look you think of when you hear the word cellulite. Contrary to what some people think, you don’t have to obese in order for cellulite to become a problem. Many healthy and slender people suffer from it, too.

Is Cellulite Genetic?

If you’re struggling with cellulite and nothing seems to be

working, you may start wondering “Is cellulite genetic?”

The answer to that is yes… and no. While cellulite isn’t

100% directly linked to genetics, your genetics do play a

role in how/if you’ll suffer from it. Factors such as hormone

levels, metabolism rate, and how much fat tissue you

have can help determine if you’ll develop cellulite. These

factors are all part of genetics. If you’re a female, then

your chances of developing cellulite is much higher than

if you were a male. This is mother’s nature gift to women.

It’s to ensure that women always have the required energy needed for child-bearing. Unfortunately, Mother Nature’s gifts aren't always flattering and fortunately there are ways to correct nature's mistakes.

Is Cellulite Reversible?

For those of you that suffer from cellulite take heart cellulite is reversible. So if you suffer from “cottage cheese” thighs inherited from your mother, you can take comfort in knowing that you do not have to live with them. There are many methods available to reverse cellulite or remove cellulite; however, not all methods are for everyone. If the methods used for removing cellulite aren't for you, there are also pills available to reverse cellulite.

Is Cellulite Permanent?

Let's face it. None of us want cellulite and no matter what

your body structure is, if you are a woman chances are you

will have cellulite. There are several ways you can get rid of

cellulite. However, there are no permanent solutions. The

various methods that are used will remove the cellulite and

smooth out the skin, but it's recommended that several

treatments of any method are used. One of the more

popular methods to temporarily remove cellulite is lotions

and creams. These treatments start to work immediately

after one application.
